3-6 years ago, I bought a TCL TV and had no issues with it until recently.
Recently we had a big storm and the power flickered and the screen turned bright white and we could barely see anything.
A few weeks later, it then turned contrasted and you cannot see pretty much anything and now it’s like looking at bright colored x rays.
We tried the turn it off unplug it method and a few other methods and it did not work.
I cannot complain since it was on sale and wasn’t as expensive as the others and it served it’s purpose but I just want to let everyone know that this does happen out of no where and randomly.
The backlight has officially gone out so now it’s time for a new TV.
