Chromebooks are okay laptops. I say this because they are basically an Android tablet that is connected to a keyboard. You can pretty much do anything on it that you do on a phone but just be warned, they are slow loading things and sometimes become unresponsive and freezes.
They also get full easy and take forever sometimes. They are great if you are doing light work on them such as blogging or editing little things but major things make it crash out. Sometimes installing and trying to put apps also makes it crash out to the point you cannot do anything and it makes it hard to do things.
If your storage is full on your Google then your storage will be full on the Chromebook and that will make the Chromebook run awfully slow along with connecting your phone to it if you have an Android. This can make things difficult to be honest.
It is great to have the Chromebook when I have nothing else but being a CrowdGen worker also on my free time, I cannot download the things that I need and it sucks because I have to get on my desktop on days I do not feel well and it kind of defeats the purpose to have the chromebook on hand.
You can put the Chromebook in Dev mode but it really does not do much either since when trying to download the certain programs used such as Microsoft Edge nor can you download UHRS who is partnered with Clickworker.
UHRS needs Microsoft Edge because you are hunting for bugs and making sure information is correct and if you don’t have Microsoft edge then you cannot work on that project and have to wait until you can get onto something that has it such as a regular windows based laptop or desktop and to me, that sucks because you lose money.
