Having an Ice machine is a thing that I love. I can pretty much put water in it, plug it up and have continuous ice for the day. Being anemic along with my kiddos being anemic this is like gold to us but what happens if you do not clean it?
Well where the ice comes off the compressor it will become slimy and then you can get mold and bacteria if you do not clean it.
Now me, I have never heard of the cleaning tablets for it and I was doing it the old way with hand and a rag or sponge and reaching the parts I could not with a baby bottle bristle brush.
I recently found that there are cleaner tablets along with cleaning liquids you can get to help you clean it. I love this because it ensures that you are not drinking mold or bacteria that will eventually make you sick and allows you to clean the machine without having to scrub much.
