Did you know the instapot is a pressure cooker, a steamer and slow cooker all in one? This thing will have your food done within a few hours or sometimes in minutes. I personally love mine. It makes all kind of meat tender and juicy. I sometimes prefer my instapot over my crockpot anyway because not only does the instapot get done quicker it can make all kinds of things from poultry to stews, soups, chili, beans, rice and so many other things. It will even keep whatever is in it warm. My personal favorite to cook in it is roast and BBQ. I also like to saute veggies and cook rice in it because the rice will be so tinder in it.
I must say there is a vent that you use on it to let the pressure and steam out. You have to open it when it’s done or when you’re wanting to open your instapot to let the steam out and let the pressure out so it doesn’t explode or burn you when you open it.
