Let me start by saying, I had to get this chainsaw due to an emergency and funding issues and guess what it did exactly what I wanted it to do. We had a oak tree that was a nice size fall across the driveway because of carpenter ants ate the bottom out of it and with gas chain saws being expensive and my husband cannot handle it due to he has Rheumatoid arthritis and gout in his hands and us needing it quickly, we ordered this one.
This chain saw was a breeze to put together. The only thing is that you have to occasionally tighten the chain with the knob so it is not to loose. You also have to supply your on chain and bar oil because it does not come with it.
This chainsaw had the tree cut within an hour. The tree had knots in it so we had to adjust it and keep adjusting it so we could cut it that was the only reason.
This chain saw is lightweight and it does not make a sound really. I love this because I could cut the tree up in the early morning without disturbing anyone.
They are out of stock on the 18″ so the link is to a 14 inch which will cut the same just take a little more time.
